Only in games where save points are few and far between, just before boss battles, that sort of thing.

i alway use use save states and without save states i would never be able to finnish most of my games

Chances are, the game was not intended to be played with save states... so I avoid them... although, I use them on some rom hacks, because, quite frankly, they were probably either intended to be used or the hacker had no idea just how ridiculously hard they made the game.

For difficult games like Megaman Zero (thats really difficult for someone like me) After losing like 20 times, i use save slots in the battle so i know what attack he'll do lol, Cheap but effective

i use it ever, i prefer just press a button instead of chosing a slot of the game, i prefer using the save state very very often

I use save states. But I think I use them too much coz sometimes in real life I keep forgeting I cant do that.

Constantly, sort of as a way of cheating. That way if I walk off a cliff or something stupid like that, I don't have to restart the level.

I dont use them so often, this save state decreases the challenge of the games. But anyone who have an emulator at least once has to use it, am i wrong?

I often use save states specially in some roms where the game is messed up and can't save. It's also useful when playing Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask.

Save states are very useful. I mainly only use them on older games that don't have save features though. For GBA I use them sometimes, game I used them the most on was probably Castlevania: Aria of Sorrow because for some reason it wouldn't let me save in that game.

only on Fire Emblem: The Sacred Stones to lvl up the trainess easily and earn 100's of thousands of (whatever the money is called), and on Yugioh Ultimate Masters when doing things like the challenges when you're not bothered to build a propoer deck, so you just keep saving and loadig until you draw a good hand LOL cheating
