I save when and where i can, i mean it's a privilage of the emulators that you can always save. So why not use it?

I use all the save states all the time. but the downsidee is sometimes you can save on the wrong state and lose all your progress.

I only use save state in some hard situations.save state can erase a part of your save game if you don't know how to use it.Posted Image

save state definitely, although it does destroy the challenging element of the gameplay. Im cruising to many games in a few hours because of save state... If only the function was not available..

i tend to use the save states only on situations when it may be difficult to start over again. i used it most in riviera.

for a short while i barely used real saves since states are so convenient but i realized once both me and my brother played the same game (Link to the past) and he tried create a file, that when i reloaded my save state after he saved his game, it erased his save file, since i froze my state before he made his battery save, so i stopped using them. It's sorta like time travel when you think about it, which is kind of hard to comprehend so i just stopped using save states.

I Use Save States Alot! (mostly not a good thing) Though Even though I use them I feel it takes a big part of the game because it feels like cheating to me....

I save too often for my health. It spoils you. I'd play on a real GBA once in a while and I'd reach for the F1 button - but there isn't one.

I used to, but now I only do it if I'm in the middle of a battle or have like, NO HP and trying to get across a massive bit of field without dying. As kept happening in Eragon.

I use save states when I'm trying to beat something impossibly hard such as that spider in metroid fusion.

I use both.Because I keep hitting Ctrl+1 instead of Shift+1 and reloading the battery. And then swearing. =]

With emulators, I always look for one that allows quick save states (by pressing F1 or Shift-F5 or so, not by having to go to a menu, then choosing Save State). It's more of a habbit to save every minute or so, which I don't do consciously anymore.

Yea I use save states. I used them to be able to save the game when the save point is a bit too far to reach.

Never, it ruins the game. I like to beat games on my own without using saves. Using saves is like sharking in my opinion.

I mainly use save states when I need to go somwhere and can't be bothered saving. I generally play through a lot of GBA games without ever saving in-game once. I just find it more convenient, compared to always having to find a save point when playing on the GBA in real life, which means I'm forced to keep playing or lose my progress.
