I use save states very often. I think this feature makes the VisualboyAdvance emulator a better GBA than the actual GBA. With save states you don't have to keep on restarting the game when you get a game over, and it's just more convenient.

Seriously?! XD Who doesn't use them? Of course, it's impossible when running your real GBA, so I guess that's reason enough to use them on your emulator!

Oh man, I use them all the time. save states have made my gaming experiences so much better. when I play videogames i get really into it so when I die in the game I get really mad. When I found out about save states it brought my stress level down a grip load.

I use them quite a bit. It kind of does take away from a game, especially for a game like fire emblem, where there's always that threat of having a party member die.

Well, I prefer save states, since you just have to press two buttons, and you can save up to 10 files at a time; unlike in-game saving that takes some time, navigating through the menus...save states are just more practical to use...

I'm too lazy to save in game most of the time. In fact, I'm so lazy I mapped save state 1 to just be the "F" key so I don't have to press multiple buttons.

I like to finish the game as quickly as possible, and in game saves make that a lot harder since you'll have to repeat from the last save point instead of, say, the point before the boss kills you.

It's important to save in game at least occasionally though. I remember one time in the Legend of Zelda: Link to the Past, where I beat the game, and then couldn't go do the extra stuff (like the 4 swords dungeon) because I hadn't saved in game for so long.

Yeah, I know I'm new but it seemed interesting. Anyway, I use in games saves mostly because soem emulater tend to revert game saves to a prior save point when you use save states and in game both.

I always keep a savestate and a backup.Like, one before the big boss and one during the fight. If things get really messed up,I use a third one too,but no more(unless this is a new game+).Also,I use the game's save feature, just in case...

Of course everyone uses save states. This way just in case your computer crashes, you won't lose your data. It saves time.
