Hi to All,U know, several times, but never to spoil the game, I mean, sometimes when you lose a battle, there goes a half hour playing hard battles and having luck in criticals, etc, that is not fair, so, I only use so I don't have to start over my game, never for last hits/crit chance/evade, etc... that's a cheat for me...

i use both. when im going to put the game off, i use in-game save. before a big fight, i use a savestate to save time walking from the savespot to the fight and to avoid lengthy dialoge

But what if you forget to use In Game Saves and you screw yourself up by save-stating right before you die?

I almost always save state, but with some games, such as Summon Night, I prefer in-game saving for some reason.

I as most people use Save States it is more comfortable this way, but sometimes it can be somthing like kiling the fun in game, i remember old times when i played MegaMan sometimes in hard places i just save every 3 secends and when I stoped for a moment I found out that playing like that is the best way to forget how to play a game, it gives so much more satisfaction when you finish game with your own skills and not only loading until you have luck, my bload is boiling when i think that i spedn weeks on finalfantasy 7 to compleat pc version and someone with save states on his ps emu says that it was easy to kill wepens... but it is yours choice if you wont easy or normal difficulty level:) (sorry for my english...)

the bad thing about save states (wich i use) is if u for example DIE you may have to restart the whole game cuz if u use them u dont even care about in game saving... so... u should use both

there are games where save points are too far from the boss... u could use them when you start a fight so you dont have to start all the game again

I like using save states. It allows you to save anywhere you want and you can have just about as many save files as you want.

i use both in game saving for backup and save state for big fights or important stuff. anyways... if u guys think u can screw up by using savestate just when u die, u can always use F1-F10 not just F1 or somethin.

I usually save the game if i'm trying to rip sprites from the game, but if i'm just playing for fun i save the state.
