I use save states a lot...sometimes to try two different paths in RPGs sometimes to just have a "Back to this fun part" state(edit for hitting the send button too fast...)

I choose save state because sometimes it is really hard to reach a certain place in a game , so i use save state just incase, and i use it when i fight really strong bosses that you can't evade easily.

I use save states because not only it is a matter of seconds to save but if I'm in a hurry and need to turn the VBA off I don't have to wait, I save and I'm ready.

I use a combination of both. I save in-game regularly because that's what I do when I play games on consoles and stuff, but I use save-states just before boss battles and stuff. Makes things easier in the long run, I think.

I would use Save Slates so you can have like 10 save games so if u have a sibling that likes the same game you can have a slate for her/him

Normally I use which ever strikes my fancy at the time. I use save states when I'm about to use a cheat just in case it mess up the game. I save in game win ever just because.

I use save states. It's a lot easier if you need to leave or if you think you might make a mistake. The games should let you save anywhere you want but since most don't then the VBA pwns.
