when u fight leon in traverse town, has anyone beaten him. is it even possible?

i've beaten him. even in expert mode. but that's because i had practice from my first normal game

It is possible to beat him, but he has insanely high HP at this point while you have insanely low stats. Even if you beat him, the cutscene triggers and it shows you having lost...so theres no point...and beating him gives NOTHING at all from what i remember.

I thought you did get some item, but I'm not sure. Thought the cutscene was somewhat different too. Anyway, if you know his attacks you can try to avoid them and whack him when he's not attacking. It's not all that hard, I did it in expert mode too. Took me about 4 or 5 tries. Had some practice from the normal game though, just like bob did.It is possible to beat him, but he has insanely high HP at this point while you have insanely low stats. u do get an item. if u beat him, before you leave with goofy and donald he'll give you an elixir

took me about 6 times but i finally got him. definately not worth it. just an alteration to the cutscene, showing you fainting as opposed to u already being unconscious. Oh btw, mr. lalaland, he gives u it regardless

I can beat him.. he's pretty easy.. all you need to do is jump around to dodge his attacks. If you're lvl 7 or above, he shouldn't be too hard. If you have scan, it may seem easier since you can tell when he's almost dead.And if you have trouble, just stock up on potions on destiny island by defeating Riku and/or the trio.

if u picked the shield as ur primary weapon in the beginning then its possible to have the guard ability if ur at level 9. if ur not at that level then u need to time ur sword swings so u reflect his fire spell back at him, this will knock him out and allow u to attack him.

I beat him in one try first time I played on normal. But on experts it took me a couple tries. Just rapidly press x to win use potions to heal. EASY

He just gives you a few if not several experience points which might make you level up. But *shrugs*

It is possible...I beat him in normal mode in the 1st try... but it quite hard in expert mode. It take me sometime to defeat him

i beat him first try on expert mode, andi had only played normal once, but i had stayed at destiny islands and levelled until about level 12

it depends what skills you have. But its possible even at a low level. I think having scan helps becuase if you know how much HP he has left, you can stragegize accordingly and it makes the battle go faster. But its a really big arena so you can use a stragegy of hit and run. If you have block, you can hit him with his own fire spell and then move in and attack for a full combo.

Easy way to beat him. Just follow his every move. Don't give him a chance to counter-attack. I beat him on the first try. Leaping combos are faster, so constantly come at him with leaping combos. You'll clean his clock in no time.

yea you can beat leon hes easy you cant kkill him he teaches you stuff you cant kill him only hit him but he cant hit you eather

it is not possible to beat him in travers town he has to knock u out to go on with the story.

lol i'm level 12 when i go to traverse town just train with tidus and you'll level up easily;run up to him as he's running to you and attack the same time he does, you'll get 2 tech points, you can continue this forever

i have trouble with him on normal :angry:the only thing that happens if you win sora goes "and now im gonna..." then he faints, and yuffie goes "you're losing your touch[leon]"

hay did you know that kindom hearts 2 is coming out in august cool ha i am gona getit when it first comes out you can use two keyblades and you have health levels so you don't die easy you start out with level 3 and work your way up i can't wait.

just level up in the begining, if you beat him you get mad EXP like 500. It gives you a couple of levels
