I'd say Wind Waker. In terms of sheer merit it has an overall larger world with more exploration options and it isn't a rehash of something that I've had since '98 or so. Plus it was a great new step and it was overall more lighthearted and fun in comparison to OoT.

ocarina of time. I hope they do what they did with super mario 64 and bring onto the DS. THAT would be awesome.

to be honest Ocarina of time/ master quest is the best. Ocarina of time has always been my favorite in the zelda series. i like the story line a lot and the biggoron sword. all of them fit the plotline so well though, they are are awesome games in their own way because they are different, but the central theme stays the same. there is always a young boy, who unknowingly become a hero from a time past and is in search of a princess, and an unknown evil.

Orcarina of time. Wind waker was more aof a giant fishing trip. It was good dont doubt that but Orcarina dilivered the basis for a epic gaming experience. From the weapons, exploration system, story, and the minigames that where blended into the actual story itself that made me a little fanboyish after playing it. Also four swords is gamecude O__o

Master Quest rocks. I couldn't get into wind waker, the graphics were just too juvenile. I don't know.

I liked Wind Waker the most because of the freedom, the wide variety of items (almost as wide as OoT), the easy gameplay, and the choppy graphics which makes Wind Waker a unique Zelda experience!

Personally I thought Twilight Princess was the epitome of everything that Zelda should have been, it was fantastic and I could play it over and over again.

Nothing beats the original. Although Windwaker was fun, I just couldn't get into the cartoon style graphics

I've always been one for the classics. In this case that was the GC port of the best games for N64, Nintendo made a great game and it's still great. Of course i much prefer Ocarina of Time to Majora's Mask, even though i thought Majora's mask was alot cooler and had so many new things, it just turned out to be too awkward alot of times, but i still loved it. Windwaker i liked a little less but still liked it. I liked the whole redesigning of the graphics, because i always have thought of link as some cartoon hero.Four Swords i loved because it was just like playing a GBA Zelda game, i'll never get tired of 2D platformer games, but it just wasn't as fun unless you had all four people to play with.

hard choice between OoT and windwaker but i choose OoT because of the interesting puzzles requiring you to change age. I found that awesome

OoT was the best for me. Wind Waker comes pretty close though, with all the islands you can explore.

Ocarina of Time has the best storyline, items and music out of those LoZ games.Wind Waker is second just because I like sailing.

The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time is and will always be the greatest video game of all time, as far as gameplay goes. I am sure the new Zelda coming next year will be as good or even better.

There is no doubt that OoT is one of if not the best Zelda games of all time. With that said, I absolutely loved Wind Waker.

Ocarina of time was the best since it's bosses, dungeons, and map were awsome, but Majora's mask was better.

I am not entirely sure of myself when saying this but I have to say Wind Waker over Ocarina of Time, the reason being that I didn't play Ocarina of Time until much later after it came out, which sort of ruined the experience for me (I still loved it though). Wind Waker had cel-shaded graphics which turned a lot of people off but true fans wouldn't mind, plus it had much more freedom than Ocarina of Time. And yes, I am only comparing these two because they are the two best that I have played, in my opinion.
