The Spider-Man movies. Definitely. They're maybe 90% accurate to the comic books. I've only spotted very minor changes, like the organic webshooters, lines on his costume, and other small stuff like that. The only two real gripes I've had with it at all are Green Goblin's costume, and the sudden addition of Gwen Stacy in the third movie. Other than that, everything is spot on. Just like the comics. The X-Men movies are horrible. If you say they're accurate, or true to the comics, I'm sorry but you're an idiot. Everything was changed in the movies, from powers, to costumes, to personalities, to appearances. Black leather EVERYWHERE. They were horribly written, and focused way too much on Wolverine. No true fan enjoyed the movies. They were as horrible as Dare Devil, and Cat Woman. The directors took a glance at the comics, then just took a big steaming dump all over them.

X-men, by far. The story, with the emphasis on the discrimination of mutants and the like, it just seems to be a more relevant story. While Spiderman, is and always has, seemed to be another generick superhero.

I like spiderman because it is more fast paced, and the movies show equality between spiderman as a fighting hero and a struggling college student.

I liked Spider-man 1 and 2 better than X1 and X2. Haven't seen X3 but i hear it is very rushed. Can't wait for Spiderman 3 though.

if you're a self-respecting fan of the comics, you'll find that spiderman is much better than x-men. At least, for more part of the movie, spiderman is true to the spirit of the original story conceived by its creators.i like action movies, but i was really turned off by how the producers of x-men totally did the movie disrespect by turning their back on decades of excellent story-telling (in the comics.) still i can't complain... to see my fave mutants come to life on the big screen!

xmen movies doubtlessly... they have so much more in them, so many cooler characters, are so much less cliched, and get better from movie to movie... spiderman on the other hand had a crap 2nd movie, by god it was bad.... the new one will, touch wood, be back to the firsts standards

It terms of cartoon and comics, I like X-Men more but if we're judging from the Hollywood movies then I'd have to say Spider-Man were better made. :P

Spiderman franchise was better movie-wise. Spiderman is only one superhero while X-Men is a group of superheroes. It is nicer to watch a show focused on one superhero rather than a group. That's how i feel about them. I din really like X-Men 3, as the scenes were diverting from character to character. X-Men 2 was my fav between the 3, as it was rather exciting and entertaining to watch. And i can't watch for Spiderman 3 to be released in May 2007. :)
