Since the very day it came out...i remember my parents got it for me for christmas and on the night it was released at 12am i heard my dad get up and open the garage, leave and when he came home i peeked out. When i looked i saw the wal-mart bag with the cube inside. Lol i put my hand over my mouth to hold in the excitement. Then i had to wait for like 2 weeks to get the damn thing.

I had the GCN on two occassions:1st: Bought it used at Gamestop and held it for a good 8 months until I traded it in for a XBox2nd: Bought it new at Best Buy as a special deal (came with 2 controllers and Mario Kart)...traded it in a year later for a XBox 360

I bought it on its launch day, Sunday November 18, 2001, at ebgames, ad sadly there was no line....no craziness like the Wii launch anyway......But I remember I did preorder mines about 7 months before it came out.Since I got the Wii thought, the GC it's sadly collecting dust on a shelf and I 've got no use for it, but I still use the controller :(I think it's time to sell it !What a great system, if the Wii wasn't out and wasn't capable of playing GC games I guess I would keep it !

I've had mine since summer 2006; it was an early Christmas present my siblings and I got for each other, along with a few games. It was amazing.

I've had my first 'Cube since it was first released in the fall of '01. 
I had to buy a new one about a year or two ago, though.
