i have gotta say the shotgun is my favorite weapon and i am sick of being called a noob online for using itif you can shoot at me with a sniper and battle rifle and i am good enough to avoid major damage or you are not good enough to kill me and i get in close from half way across the map i am no noob lol

Anything that blows stuff up.Case in point, bazooka and plasma grenades. It sends people flying which is always a plus.

My favorite campaign weapon is the fuel rod gun because it is as powerful as the rocket laucher, and is so rare. Whenever I get it I save it for only special occasions. aka, take down Brutes.My favorite multiplayer weapon is either the shotgun, or dual weilding needlers. Something about purple exploding needles strikes fear into your opponents.

Shotgun for killing rampages, or a Needler for the fun of it, 
. I love watching them get loaded full of needles and exploding. But, I prefer the Shotgun overall for you can sneak up behind someone, and give them a big of a surprise, . Oh, that's when in PvE, btw.

As hard as it is to pick one weapon id have to say beam rifle, cause it looks so cool lol. but hey grenades are the funniest and best weapon in terms of a fast paced game

Fail to you. Best combo is plasma pistol+battle rifle. Screw the Battle Rifle smack+headshot glitch. This works much better, is just as fast, and has a much better range. Just charge a shot and release. It locks on slightly to the target and if it hits, you should already have your battle rifle pointed at the head by then, so fire. If you are REALLY good, duel weild plasma rifle with magnum and once you first the charged shot, fire at his head with magnum. But this is much harder to do and basically less efficient.

SCARAB GUN lmao jks but actually, i like first sniper rifle cuz i just love sniping and am so good at it, and then the energy sword, especially on colossus, me and my friends always get energy swords adn continually go straight up on the jump thingy trying to kill each other so fun

enrgysword kicks ass beyond all reason... you can kill people in 1-2 hits no problem and you dont have to worry about reloading.... i loved using that over any weapon... other than that i'll ust the sniper if its a really big level....

Carbine and Sniper Rifle.I voted Carbine.I just love semi-auto rifles.If they had kept the Assault Rifle in Halo 2, then it would be that + the two above.But, it's back in Halo 3, so when I get around to playing that, it'll be key.

Oh yeah def. the Energy Sword is my fav. just sneakin up on someone & uppercuttin them in the face with it just has to give you a thrill.....=]]& if your good with it you can dominate those 1-hit kills.............but if your goin the easy road def. a rocket launcher is the way to go & even if your not a good aim close up just sling a plasma grenade on their junk =]]
