i find dual needlers the best all roun but i find the energy sword the funnest

i absolutely love the sniper rifle!! but it has to be coupled with something for up close battle, so prob the shotgun!!!! nothing can cut them covanent down like that weapon combo!!

Depends on the level you are playing, your personal skill level, and the opponent and what weapons he is using. So this is more of a "what weapon do you have the most fun playing with" Any smart player knows that a no scope close range sniper rifle IS deadly in an experts hands. But whats the chance you will run in the said expert, who can kill you with one shot close range. Now, pull out your shot gun and show the sniper boy whos boss. Or, say you are fighting a jerk, on a close quarters level with a sword. Sure, you can pull out your sniper rifle, but don't you dare miss the first shot, our your dead! A sticky to his face will teach him. Or better yet, when he lunges, unload a shot gun to his face! When you are going up against someone with a Battle Rifle, or a Sniper. To stop then from zooming in, pop 'em! And they un zoom. So a way to unsure that close up shot gun, or that close up sword to work good. Bring along a mid ranged weapon to stop those scopes. If you can't zoom in to get those 4 BR shots off, then how good is it? Though, watch out for those uber players who can shoot a quarter off the warthogs tail pipe all the way cross Coag with no scope...As I said, it matter the situation, though I agree, the Battle rifle serves MANY purposes, and I don't think there are many situations where you will have to decided to throw down the BR or not.

i like shot guns since they become rly good is close quaters.....like when ur oppnent is right next 2 u and u dont even noe it lol

definitely the needlers dual wield in short open areas. And shotguns with the human side. Also the snipers for both sides are good for long distance precision.

Sniper rifle all the way man. i can kill with the sniper without scope, across the map. Well, i can really do that with any gun though i geuss it dosent matter.

I prefer the shottie for close range, coz it rips through peoples, but the battle rifle is good for range, easy kill, but grenades are always good to

loved the shotgun as it was huge chance of a one shot kill when you get right up close and personal second to that is the energy sword and the neet little glitch it had with the rocket launcher

You just can't beat a well placed grenade followed by a BR headshot. That's my favorite combo right there. Secondary weapon will have to be a sniper, more fun sniping people out of ghosts...the good days....

i love shot gunsyou can take a guy with an energy sword with one bullet or two if your unsure of range and wana play it safe(B X R) its a punch and shot straight after each othertry in game and have fun

I say SMG. it's the default weapon so when you die in story you get it again, it has good ammo, awesome melee and a good alrounder damage.

If you ask me, i would say Battle Rifle and Shotgun. The Battle Rifle for far range because if you head shot four times they will die, and the Shotgun for close range, because its one shot up close and a bash and they're dead lol.

best combination of weapons is battle rifle and shotgun. own them when their far away and if they get close own them then too.

in my opion i would say the battle rifle is the be3st gun in halo 2, because of its medium range abilities, n short range ability
