I like Gouki(Akuma). He has the best moves and just kicks donkey.

Well, I have'nt played the Alpha version, merely SF2, nothing beyond. My favorite would have to be Chun Li. Her agility and ariel acrobatics suit my jumping combat style. Able to literally flip off the walls to come back and attack, grab and throw enemies to the ground in mid-air, and of course her head-stomp kick are awsome. I do hate Ryu and Ken players though, because most of the time they just sit back doing fireballs, and dragonpunch when I try to come in close. Her scissor kick unfortunatly does'nt see much use, but fortunatly her techniques in the air are enoug hto compensate against most foes.After that I would have to say Guile. He's more of my timer man. I only have a few moves I know how to do with him but that's mostly all I need. Well, that and the Flash Kick, which is just pure ariel ownage. Not nearly as wild about the Sonic Boom though...

Mine's Ryu, primarly because he's easier for me to play as.

Akuma > Ryu > Ken... mainly because they're really easy to use and got a massive combo if you know how to use them

My favorite character is actualy Ryu because of his "adouken" (soory if i mispelled it) anyway ryu = dragon and thats a reason to be my favorite char.When he turns evil, more actions is welcome and fun to see.

Ah, for street fighter, I actually liked playing with Chun Li. Reason being? Her rapid kick absolutely destroys people who come anywhere close to her. That is always a good thing...

Ryu he's fast, strong, and I like his spinning flying kicks.
