They aren't really worth the extra cost, they have good range but they have to be at about the same height as the reciever or else they can have communication problems which can cause skipping in motion/fighting (not good when ur surrounded and trying to heal or escape) the batteries do last pretty long as long as you turn the controller off (common sense) but there isn't a way to tell if it's almost out of power so it'll screw u over most of the time. Also Wavebirds have the problem of a bulky center piece making handling difficult and akward until you adjust to the shape differences. You're better off buying an extender which is cheaper, but admittedly the extra cord length can and most likely will get in the way. A nice bonus to the wireless controller is that it's sturdier and less prone to breaking/sticking that normal and you can really screw with ur friends by switching to their frequency mid game.

I Guess It's Pretty Good, Well So That Your Eyes Won't Get Worse If The Cord Is Too Short.

They're pretty good, but the normal kinds are better because you don't have to worry about something messing with the signal or the battery running out.

It might be a rip.......U have to change batteries constantly and if u press something or move a joy stick while ur flippin the On switch, it messes up the controls so u have to turn it off and turn in back on w/o touching anything......For me, I don't even go far away from the T.V. so my Wavebird is pretty useless unless I wanna fight my brother in Naruto or SSBM.

I have a Wavebird but I really prefer the original controller. The Wavebird has no rumble feature (which sucks) and sometimes won't respond for a couple seconds here and there...

Its alright i guess it would suk if you lost one of the pieces that goes with it, (the controller or the plug in) though batteries doesn't change much i think unless you play alot. Though i normally play games like SSBM and Soul Caliber, so if it dies it doesn't matter too much.

I got a wavebird and it works well 99% of the time. I use it with my Wii. The technology used for the wireless connection in the Wavebird is prone to messing up if anything is between the controller and the receiver, but the Wii Remote and also the PS3 and 360 wireless controllers all use blue-tooth, so the reception problems are basically gone, which is nice.

Never buy wireless. The connection fades, batteries can be expensive, and they are shaped wierd.
