The only time I've found that the wired controller is better than the wireless is in SSBM because of the ferocity my friends and I play it at. Once you reach the level we have gotten to, you notice the remarkably small time delay that the wavebird has. Yes, it's there, and yes, it has been the difference between whether I go flying or my friend does.

well it does give u a longer reach but u end up wasting money on batteries so what i sugjest is to just buy an extension cable. :shiftyninja:

I prefer a regular controller with one of those extentions. the wires are a bit annoying but the reach is far and there are no battery changes

Its more convienent, you wont have to trip over the control and accidentally pull the power plug when you try to get up.

I think wireless controllers were an awesome invention. With wireless controllers you don't have to sit close to the t.v. to play.

I've heard bad things about Gamecube wireless controllers in general. Unless wires are really messing you up (and it just well might if you have four of them), then it's up to you, but I wouldn't suggest pitching your old ones. You know, just in case the wireless ones start spazzing out, it's good to have a backup.

The WaveBird wireless controller is excellent. Great battery life and connection. However, there is no rumble, but that does not bother me. So I say the wireless controller made by Nintendo is good :lalala:

Ya the wireless controller is really good and my old controllers had the rubber around the wires split open leaving the wires exposed.

Nintendo GameCube's Wavebird Wireless controller is great but expensive. Not only is it expensive, you'll have to buy batteries every now and then. But at least it doesn't have a wire which you can trip over.

The normal ones are better, even though they get tangled up sometimes.
