I like the wireless controllers because u aren't teathered down and the cord doesn't get in front of your screen when you're playing. Only having to change the battery every 3 months or so depending on the amount of game playing you do.

I the wireless controllers are awesome but their going to run out of batteries and you have replace but that's the downside of a wireless controller.

Wireless....if you are going to spend the extra dough to get a wireless controller, then spend some more on getting a good battery charger and some decent batteries. It will save you money in the long run if you plan on playing for a while.I wonder if the wavebird will be compatable with the Wii.

I read in an article that the gamecube wireless controller is the best when compared to the wireless controllers of other systems. I have 1 and you can literaly play through solid walls. If your worried about constantly replacing batteries, don't, you probably won't have for a lifetime, ive changed mine once a year. the only downside is that there is no rumble.

Well it's basically the same as any other regular controller. You could play without the controller cords getting in the way and/or tangled up.The only thing is that you should always check its battery's strength, ortherwise it'll run out on you at the wrong time and you'll get pwned before you can hurry and switch the controller. :D

I'd say having one is worth it. For most game's it's pretty practical. No wire mess ups, infrequent battery change, etc. Though recently I've been choosing the wired controllers, at least for SSBM. The speed at which my friends and I play is so great that I've noticed the time difference between the wired and the wireless. Most games/gamers don't need such high quality performance from their controllers because they have lives, unlike me, so I'd say go for it.

Nintendo GameCube's Wavebird Wireless controller is great but expensive. Not only is it expensive, you'll have to buy batteries every now and then. But at least it doesn't have a wire which you can trip over.

you trip over your wires?yeah the wavebird is great you can play outside of the room you're in

it depens of your room space , if it's small i recomend you the normal, but if it's too big , use the wirelless , but if it had some wires in the floor use the wireless or youre in hurry

I have 2 wireless controllers, and I think they're great because you can go farther when playing GC games. I like to usually sit on my bed while playing GC games from afar. Also, with wire controllers, the wire can break easily and the controller breaks also while wireless controllers just need new batteries each time.

well i think Wireless controllers are worth it and not worth it but it all depends on the price compared to a normal controller... and if it takes 2 AA batteries then you might want to use rechargeable batteries and all ways switch them out before they go dead (the battery life decrees faster if the are not charged frequently)... and the odd side is that you can go about 30 feet away from your game cube with full life batteries and it will still be connected to the access point >.- well i see the glass half empty and full so i cant say that's a good or bad idea
