It seems that now all the systems are going wireless so if you still have a wired controller for your GC then you are even further behind the times then most. Wireless is the best way to go

I play it safe and just use the wired controllers. Less hassle when it comes to batteries, which I hate to take care of.

Wireless are good as soon you like to spend money and time in charging the controllers, But I think is better, because you donīt have to bind the wire around the controller anytime you finish playing, so Thatīs what I think about wireless.

Controllers with cords are frustrating when they get tangled-up which is hard to loosen, and more harder if you have few other controllers tangled with each other. Cordless controllers you are free from all of that tangle situation. It only cost batteries which is inexpensive or if they have electricity charge controllers to keep the Interference power running. I find it much better to have a cordless controller.

the only good thing about a wireless controller is neatness other than that they suck. if you get the type that i had it'll have a slow reaction time and the batteries die frequently.

Wireless controllers are somehow good but you need Batteries to make it work and but wired controllers are a good choice.

The idea really appeals to me now because of Wii games I can play while sitting on my couch instead of on the floor. I used to be able to just pull out my GC into the middle of the room but I needed to take it out to be able to hook up my Wii. I don't have one but I would really like one and will buy one if I can find one in a store.

Although the nextgen controllers work well wirelessly the wireless gamecube controllers just aren't up to par. They die quickly and don't have the best range. They don't work very well when stuff is in the way.

the sixaxis forPS3 costs 60 euro nowusually i just go for the 15 euro one, but i felt like spending money :)its usefull, since u dont have to untwist the wires all the times, and u have a longer rangebatteries dont run out fast, it runs at least 12 hours (have mine only a week or so off the chargercon: u dont get a extra wire to recharge .. which is retarded if you ask mepro: its a pretty standard connection wire u probably have lying somewhere

I really don't mind wired controllers. I don't see what all the fuss is about. I mean, if you're playing a system, you're not going to be sitting on the opposite side of the room, there's a good chance you'll be hanging out in the best gaming spot: right smack dab in front of the television set. I never sit so far away that I stretch the wire, although I have gotten pissed a few times and yanked the controller back, dragging my Gamecube with it, but that's not often.I'm also not a big fan of the size and bulkiness of a Wavebird. It doesn't allow for the same grip as a normal controller and feels more abnormal/clunky. And we can't forget that the damn thing uses batteries as well! Why use a wireless controller and spend precious money on batteries when you could just as easily use a wired controller? Makes no sense to me. The only time I'd use a wireless controller is if I were feeling very antsy and constantly felt the need to keep shifting and moving my arms around. Otherwise, I just sit dead still, controller unmoving, so I wouldn't perceive any wireless difference. Bah.

The only problem--once you start using a wireless controller, it mixes you up whenever you start playing with a regular, corded controller. Sometimes you'll get so used to not having a cord that you will forget.

I haven't touched my regular controllers since I got my Wavebird, so I would say wireless is the way to go
