The problem I have with the two wireless controllers i own is the agonizing task of having to buy batteries to replace. That costs a lot over a period of time. Just go with the wired controllers and move your seat closer to the TV if you have to. Get over the hype.

It's a pretty dumb reason but I actually bot the wireless control just because it looked cool.. The price was only a bit more than a normal control so why not.

Wireless controller is worth it because you don't trip on any wires when you try to get the controller. Plus wires are a fire hazard.

the only good thing is no wires tangled or anything like that....but if battery runs out well thats it...and that sucks alot...if u lose the cover of the batteries it will be harder for it to work! and besides the normal is cheaper so i like the normal one better

i like the wired controllers better. they don't eat up batteries so they're cheaper in the long run. and i never sit too close to the TV anyway so there's little chance of me tripping on wires.

wireless controller is more convenient (especially to avoid cable accidents when the kids are walking around), and generally speaking the xbox controllers are quite resistant with very good handling.

If I get further from my TV than the chord can reach I can't really see any details. If you have a really nice TV and a large room to play in go for it but if not it's a waste of money.

I hate to buy all the batteries for it. Perhaps I should buy the rechargeable batteries. That will help

I wouldn't say so. The cost of batteries isn't worth it in my opinion.

Wireless controllers are worth it if you live in a house full of people so they wont trip over it.

Wireless are comfortable to use, but the only negative is you have to charge them heaps.

i hate wireless i feel like they lag a tiny bit but that might be me, i'm one of those people who are just freak out because i push A and there is a tiny bit of delay time before the move comes out. I must admit though wire controllers get broken easily when there are people walking by and stepping on it...

Yes, it is a good buy. The only thing that is bad is that it doesn't have rumble and you have to buy batteries for it, which wastes money. When the batteries are running low, the controller becomes unresponsive as well

I can't deal with the frame lag that comes with playing a wireless controller. I would suggest ordering an imported controller online, of the new white wired controllers. The cords are so ridiculously long, I don't think you'll have a problem with distance.I've never seen someone play with those cords at full length.
