the life span of our cell is roughly a few monthswhen it dies, our bone produces new cells that will take its placeso we're dying constantly, but we're also regenerating at the same timethe problem is when our regeneration slows down (age) and stop (die)

argh.. we, people, are organisms, and organic material gets old and do not function properly, when we get shot or run over by a truck, or so, our organism is too damaged to go on, because we are made of organic material, which is easely damaged. When it gets too old to function, we die, and there's nothing after that. That's why people think that there is god, because they cannot imagine what is that nothing, and nothing isn't black, or dreams or something, it's NOTHING, I can't imagine that also. but that's how it is. period.

Fellows, please. The question isn't how we die, it's why we die.We die to keep the population in check. Well, that's the politically correct answer, but, I also think that, even if there's not an afterlife, our existence here is almost constant discomfort coupled with repetitive activities and, really, a truly limited existence considering the magnitude of this and other universes, and death is an escape from that. Enjoy your time here, though. A mortal life is certainly better than not existing at all, yes?
