i think we die because that keeps us from dehumanization. If we lived forever, we'd be so bored, and lots of thing wouldn't matter

Because all living organisms degrade after a certain point in their life cycle, and their cells become unable to regenerate quickly enough to sustain their physiology. When they're unable to adequately fulfill their niche, a new generation takes their place, ensuring the survival of the species without overwhelming the host (in the case of micro-organisms: the body; in the case of humans, plants and animals: the earth). It's the natural order of things.

We die because we go past our body's expiry date. or we just dont feel like living anymore. the most important reason we die though is because we are born. if u r not born, u cant exactly die.

We die because that is the way all natural things are made, never to last for eternity.

Biblically, we die because we inherited sin from our first human parents Adam and Eve. Romans 5:12 That is why, just as through one man sin entered into the world and death through sin, and thus death spread to all men because they had all sinnedAdam lived for a very long time (930 years) and would not have died if he hadn't sinned. Scientists agree that we have the potential to live forever and still don't fully understand why we die.On the positive side, God promises those who obey him that this opportunity will become available to them againRev 21:3,4With that I heard a loud voice from the throne say: “Look! The tent of God is with mankind, and he will reside with them, and they will be his peoples. And God himself will be with them. 4 And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.”

If you're saying by old age is mostly because you start to wear down, but the REAL reason, like in cellular-molecular level it's cause our cells start dieing and therefor stop producing chemicals necessary to maintain our brain functions and other bodily functions working, then our organs stop working properly (massive concentrations of cells) meaning that other organs won't survive.then little by little you die. but the real question is, why, even though we can clone life, know what kind of substances we have in our body, what kind of reactions we have and how to make them, why can't we generate life? (serious question)

i think we all die to make room for the next generation to come along and fix the problem of the past or make them worse. Plus remember this if GOD wants you home he'll call you home.

To briefly explain this (from my bio teacher):Our chromosomes have a certain portion which starts to constantly deplete after our body stops growing (after puberty). As this portion depletes, problems may start to arise (e.g. cancer). The length of this portion is proportional to how long we are allowed to live. Once this portion of our chromosome is gone, we die. So far, noone is able to find a way to stop or even slow this reaction down...So yeah... that's why we die...

There are organisms that are theoretically immortal. Our stem cells for example have the potential to regenerate forever and it could be the key to immortality. Holothurians are for example animals that can age unlimited and therefor don't die if they're not killed. A kind of Jellyfish the Turritopsis nutricula can revert to it's child stage after becoming sexually mature and then age again. Repeating this cyclus makes it immortal. There are more immortal organisms like for example simple protozoons. So why shoulnd't Human become immortal in the future? perhaps someone already found out how to become immortal but doesn't share his knowledge with the world because he knew it would lead to overpopulation.

i think we die beacuse we eccept it an an enevitability :wtf:

we die because that's the life cycle already explained by science and philosophy. as per your point...whatever, kudos to those who have managed to stay alive beyond human years...~_~ I just think it's too boring to stay alive for sooo long...

We die because we have sinned against God or any other living being. And that's why nobody is immortal(everyone sins).
