People are made to live for a limited time and at the point where there's no way our bodies can keep going they die off inevitably and they go somewhere off this earthalso if you applied immortality it would mean having to live forever in a universe that never lets you explore what's beyond life and your body would be a prison with no lock.

Well now in space exploration slowing down aging is one of their interests. I guess its so that you can last upto there and have a human go check out new places manually. As for the prison with no lock. That sucks. What if i took something to give me the impression i was flying?

So we have to suffer from them? What kind of retarded addled divine justice is that?Sounds like power abuse to me.One more reason why we die-So that the newer models hit the shelf and since noone wants the older models anymore we are scrapped. And recycled too.The technology used in us is passed down to newer improved models.

Jesus Came and died for OUR sins THEREFORE we have an opportunity for salvation if we choose to take it. We still commit sins everyday therefore making us just as responsible as Adam and Eve.

That's just why i don't like him.Ever heard of akon and his song Put the blame on me?Well he also took the blame of your sins.So Jesus christ.... I don't think he died for our sins.I think the kings killed him so that they could keep on supressing the poeple but jesus decided to go out with a catchphrase that nobody would forget and have a lasting effect to free the lower castes. That's what Buddha did too,I'm sorry to be so anal but its been a while since someone posted here because of the IPS errors.

We die simply because our bodies can't continue to produce new cells. At least, that's what I remember from my biology class. I think it's right.

I think a better question would be the converse of this: Why do you think we have to live? But that aside, well, it's because our bodies can't sustain the growth after a fixed period of time and so we just have to stop functioning. Or so I think. Ah, science class. Also, if we lived forever the earth would probably implode because it can't sustain us for that long, either. So whilst we renew ourselves the earth renews itself, too.

for the physical explanation, people die when they can't make new cells. For a philosophical, death is inevitable. You must die to live. Death is a release from suffering.

In a scientific point of view, we die because our bodily functions are too old to sustain life, so we die. In a personal point of view, we die so that we can be free from a world bind by sins, evil, and torture so that we may be enlightened. Or we just happen to be the unlucky person who happens to be at the wrong place at the wrong time.

So we have to suffer from them?

If you look at sin as a genetic thing, it's actually perfectly logical. For example, if your mum smoked while she was carrying you, you might be cursed with bad lungs.Of course, it's not fair to suffer for something you haven't done, but it's inevitable in most aspects of life. The sooner you deal with that fact, the faster you'll get ahead in life.

We die because each time our cells replicate our DNA isn't replicated perfectly and starts loosing some of it end codons once a cell has divided up to a certain amount of time. So then comes a certain point in our life where our cells just can't replicate because that DNA segment is gone and the cell doesn't know what to do anymore and thus it grows older and start to break down more and more until we eventually die of old age(hopefully that happens for most of us!) uva damage and also toxins help this process occur faster as it damages the DNA .

We die because our bodies aren't capable of staying in good shape. Organs and skin tissues and all that other jazz start to not function and we buy the farm.

i think we die cuz the mortal mind, which houses the soul and influences the functioning of the body, cannot bear to comprehend all of the secrets of life, choosing to seek solace in a dark, obscure rest rather than to embrace the agonized insanity that accompanies prolonged sufferinghahahaha

The flesh is weak and eventually wears down over time. I do believe that there is some spiritual explanation. (In Christianity, transgressions known as "sins" caused the fall of man. As a result, animals went wild, wars came, and people died. Pretty much, I believe it is because we deserve it.)
