Because we cannot take anymore the pain so we die or one of our internal parts are damaged badly that they can not function but in religon as Strykr Omega says that death is only the beginning to a new life.
why do you think we die?

i think we die becuase our body cannot hold the sould in anymore and it is a start of a new life and also i beleive that when we go to heaven we get our bodies most perfect form

The same reason why you can't run too many programs at the same time without your computer crashing. Also, God needs to uninstall his old games to make room for his new ones.

this is a stupid question, we die because our bodies get too old and worn out and we just cant go on living anymore. Of course thats only old age, we could get hit by a bus or fall off a building or something

Death is an Enevitability. I can think that I will live forever and truely believe that but in the end I will die just like everything. Life and death are a cycle, everything lives, everything dies. These are stone cold fact like gravity. Somethink we are destined to die and maybe they are right. Noone knows the true reason for existance, we may be here as humor to a higher power, or just because but everything is open to arguement. Death is the greatest mystery of humankind. but I believe on thing is true. You will die yes, but true death comes when you are completely forgotten. As long as someone remembers what you did or who you were you will live on eternally. to be forgotten is like never existing and that is true death in my eyes. Maybe that is the purpose of life. to affect the world in either a good or bad way is the goal of human life, every action you take has an effect on someone and thus makes an impression on the world. the bigger the action the bigger the impression. this is my belief and may be right or wrong I will leave this up to you to decide.i think we die beacuse we eccept it an an enevitability

Because our heart stops. Blood stops going to our brain and it cannot be started up after the brain cells start dying from a lack of blood. We only "die" because we are unable to function any of our senses with our brain unable to operate them.

You die because you have to. Its just like asking why we live. Death is something that just happens because we arent meant to be alive anymore. If you really want to think about it, you dont even know if you're living or if you're dying. Maybe you never really die and death is just something you think happens. How would you ever know? You havent died.

We die (naturally) because of either disease or natural causes. By natural causes, I mean your body can no longer create new cells because it's reached it's limit of cell replication and you just die. Non-natural deaths are caused by accidents (majority) and on purpose (minority). The reason I think we die is because it's just part of nature.

We die becasue the DNA replication process is not perfect, so we start to get more crappy cells in our body over time. Which finally friggin kills us.

We don't die, we're just recycled. I don't mean by reincarnation, though it does sound like it. I'm just saying stuff how everything returns to something eventually. That something is energy. Energy is a constant that never gets destroyed and never gets created. It is static. We as living organisms, age. And thru aging we use up w/e raw energy that created us, to grow and to have the ability to think, it's like a battery. We also get energy from foods and whatever. But as living organisms we possess something called death, which will come out sometime after we don't have the energy to stop it from happening. We "die" to be recycled because we have death inside us. The only static thing in this world is energy.

this is exactly what happens, i see death as a new adventure so i don't fear it but am looking forward to living ( i do however fear pain)just like the matrix says "everything that has a begining has an end" the same is true for us, our end is death.though if you believe in religion, death is only the beginning to a new life.

I really would not like the thought of living forever, imagine how pointless things would become and who tired you would feel. Despite the fact I'm religous the life after death does not appeal to me at all. "We begin therefore we end." "Better to lie spent in the grave then forever idle.""There is no begining without end."
