They keep branching out and becoming more and more until there not the same silly creatures we first loved like squirtlle a combination of a squirrell and a turtle??? Come on that was HOT! But soon there will be creatures such as SPOON!...and it will be an epic fail! They should just throw it online already!

In my opinion, the original 151 were brilliant.When the Gold/Silver/Crystal generation came, they were still phenomenal.A decline came in the Ruby/Sapphire/Emerald generation; and a spiral ensued from there.

i can totally see where you are coming from... the original 150 pokemon were awesome.. it was a high enough number to keep collecting yet low enough to be not soo complicated. i think they keep adding more so the kiddys can keep buying... MARKETING TRICKERY STRIKES AGAIN!

I liked the first two generations. Even the third had a few winners. But I don't like the fourth. The only Pokemon I like are the Shinx family and the new Eevee evolutions. Besides that, everything is a knock off of older Pokemon.

i wouldnt mind if they made more pokemon but they got to stop adding on to the old ones and make up something new, because right now there all just versions of that last one updated.

Pokemon Red and Blue rocked the 90's i think cuz every kid including myself and my cousins had them and we always battled each other via link cable i could never catch mew though Jhoto was very great as well hoenn maybe like rayquazza and the new ones really suck

Supposedly, they're just going to name every pokemon after every single species that's known to their scientific terms. Like Pidgey is obviously based off of a pidgeon, as well as their evolved forms and stuff like that.I used to be a pokemon fan whenever they started the #1-150 pokemon. I understood every single one and knew them all. then *151-250......i caught on with pokemon Silver/Gold and learned those as well...now their are like how many of those things????? 385???? Why make so many?

I so agree with the OP. personally I got of the pokemon train after silver/gold because I saw which direction this was going:s the best pokemon's are the first 151 in my opinion and like others have said, they should've just given them new abilities, skills, or perhaps introduced a few more legendary pokemon's which they could build some kind of a storyline around.oh well... what could've beenI used to be a pokemon fan whenever they started the #1-150 pokemon. It's getting really annoying now, if you're playing Advance Wars in the WiFi hotspot, and all the little kids think you are playing Pokemon, then they boast about how they got this uber rare one that just came out and nobody whos played the game for a few years knows about it; You tend to be like, what the heck is that? some virus or something?
