Phantasy Star, Suikoden, and Tales. I love King of Fighters too, but I haven't really been hugely into it since around 2003.And maybe Final Fantasy would be up there, but the quantity-to-quality ratio makes it really hard to say I'm a fan of the series as a whole, as opposed to a fan of a 'mere' five or six games in the series.

Suikoden, Final Fantasy, and Star Ocean. The Suikoden games are absolutely brilliant, as are the Star Ocean games. Only this applies to a few of the Final Fantasies, IMO.

guess it's gonna be devil may cry series for action. and the FF series for rpgs, though i dun think i really like FF12. don't flame me ppl, the battle system just doesn't appeal to me thats all.

Ok well since there is a gross over looking of ANY MUSIC GAMES whatsoever. I must represent the masses and say: ALL Dance Dance Revolutions, Beatmania IIDX, Pop 'n' Music, ParaParaParadise, Stepmania, Stepmania Online. (though those last 2 arent series.)As for normal games, MGS and barely final fantasy anymore (IMO storylines have gone to crap from 9 on)

Final Fantasy is the best, I think nothing can beat it. The story, characters, gfx, and drama is awesome.

GTA's are all sweet games. 3 and up got harder but 2 was the most addicting

final fantasy does rule rpg's. ffx was truly the best, but ffxii still comes in a close second. both have compelling storylines and can take forever to get everything. final fantasy owns.whats your fav game series my is the final fantasy series it rules my fav one is ffx

My favourite video game series the PlayStation systems have to offer is definitely Final Fantasy, I've gotten through Final Fantasy 7, 8, 9, 10, and 10-2, and although I didn't get as much out of FFIX, all the others I've played are just great, my favourite of the series being FFVII.

the .hack series have got to be my favorite for PS2. the story line is really interesting and intense.. and just brilliant. the gaming is awesome too. so. DOTHACK.

MY fav series on the ps2 has to be the hitman series by far nothing like sinister and planned killings with piano wire and such for money
