I tried battling a lv100 MewTwo and a lv100 Mew in my Red Version.I did not modify the stats.Guess what? MewTwo lost because of the right set of moves I taught Mew using TMs.So I'd have to go with Mew.

Mewtwo.Recover/Taunt/Calm Mind/ Psychic or Ice Beam or FlamethrowerIf you play competitively it works wonders. Though Mew is a great Pokemon and can learn a lot of things, its stats are too balance for its only good. Sometimes you need much more in one stat then the others. Usually mix sweeping does not work out as well as specializing in one field.

Sometimes balanced stats suck, but if this is a popularity or favorites contest, i'd choose mew..Mewtwo.Recover/Taunt/Calm Mind/ Psychic or Ice Beam or FlamethrowerIf you play competitively it works wonders. First off mew is in Pokemon Emerald, and he's shown in 2 pokemon movies.I'd go with Mewtwo cause I think he is the strongest Pokemon EVER, but Mew can learn every move... so mew could prolly beat Mewtwo in the games, just teach Mew some dark techniques.mew because i think there is no better pokemon ever that is better than mew, mew is so rare they dont even show it in games or even on the show.
