I was searching a torrent site and got a torrent with roms in the results. Then I downloaded the files and when I then searched for roms at google I found a link to this site. The first rom I downloaded from here was azure dreams for gbc, not counting the 50 gba games I downloaded before.

I ended up wanting to find Super Mario RPG, but didn't want to pay the crazy prices for it (I have a working SNES, which I continue to use).. plus, I was too lazy. :P Just decided to download the rom, and ZSNES.

I remember about five or so years ago, I went to my friends house and he had a SNES emulator. I thought it was awesome so I went home and began the emulation download. Though, I usually buy all my games, even games from the SNES days. I do test run GBA games though.

I have a laptop so I figured it'd be cool to take good games EVERYWHERE with me. (Although, I have since purchased the appropriate cable to allow me to connect any RCA (red/white/yellow) media input to any computer. This allows me to play even SSBM on my laptop HECK YAHHHHHH!!!!!!)

I think I've seen something on TV, too.It wasn't really about emulation, but about illegal stuff, like burned music CDs and movies, etc. and how it harms the industries.

I think it was about five years ago. We had just thrown out our old NES because it didn't work (and we didn't want to pay $65 for Nintendo to repair it, and we didn't have any used game shops at the time), and I was curious about Super Mario Bros. 3. I searched on the web and bumped into an emulation site. I found the ROM and then set out for an emulator, finding an obscure NES emulator called BioNES. (It's on Zophar's Domain, as I just found out, but it's been discontinued since 1998!) Five years and a new computer later, I'm still hooked.(Oh, and now, I have a video card with TV out, so I can hook up my TV and play NES, SNES, and N64 games on my TV!)
