The year was 2001...I was twelve years old, It was summer, and Boy was I ever bored.I had always loved the super nintendo, and I had craved to play it ever since mine broke the previous year.I searched for countless hours and researched on the net...And finally, I found it. The solution to all my gaming problems. My first game was Zelda, A link to the past, which was incidentally the first super nes game I had ever owned, which turns out to be my favorite game ever.

I found out from a coworker who had them. rockNES was my first emulator and Super Mario Bros. was mt first game. I now have every game ever made for the NES on my laptop. I prefer playing Project 64 for the N64, though.

Like most people I got into it by a friend. In college a friend had an SNES emulator and a Japanese wrestling game that you couldn't get stateside. it was my first real introduction into what an emulator could be used for. This was like 10 years ago. Ever since then I have been into them in some form or another. Reliving old games is a blast. The Wii was smart to captilize on this idea for the masses.

Well, to tell the truth. My first Emulator was around two years ago. I don't remember what it was called. But I had found it when my GBA made me mad. I picked it up, and threw it across the street, and hit my neighbors pickup. So, I paid him like 2k to get his truck repaired. And, I said Fts, and went to the computer. Then my friend told me about Emu's. So I was like....WOW. So now, I have an Emu, I need DP's . And, I'm happy.

I was yearning for Kiby's nightmare in dream land, so I looked it up on Kazaa lite and found this secret ultra cool thing called a rom. So then I started playing sweet gba roms, and that lead me to getting this humongo pack of 1000 snes roms. But the first person I saw playing a rom was my brother, beating the megaman games in minimal time. But I still haven't bothered with sega dream cast or playstation iso's.

I was talking with a co-worker about old games one day. He collects all the original hardware and equipment as a hobby. Then he told me about how emulation was becoming huge. I asked him about it and poof.....here I am today.
