I really needed to play a few old games that I don't have anymore (DK64 and Kirby Superstar among them), and neither of them have been released on the Wii's Virtual Console yet. A friend recommended this site, so I came here to grab the ROMs.

I was getting pretty bored in school, and I'd noticed that one of my friends could play GB games on his computer. (Wish I still knew the kid, cuz i'm pretty sure that was a copy of Nintendo's official GB emulator, it was fullscreen and fast as 6 years ago...)Anyways, I just googled "Play GB games on computer", and voila! Instant distraction from schoolwork :)

I started at about five. Since my family didn't own a Genesis, my dad just let me play the Sonic games on an emulator.

I was on Facebook and there was an application with an NES emulator in it. It wouldn't work properly and my bf found working emulators and showed them to me. My first game was Rampart.
