I knew something like this would exist in the internet, so I searched it up, as I got angry about the limited games I own in real life. Searching led me to the knowledge of emu.

I think I was just surfing the web one time looking for game boy games, when I read on a website advertising game boy ROMS. The first emulato I had was Visualboy, which quickly changed to VisualboyAdvance, and my first ROM was definitely a pokemon game. I don't remember which one, though.

i was searching the internet for new and used games, especially snes games, and I wanted megaman X3, costing around $70 on ebay, and made in limited quantities, so I knew there had to be a better way, and then my friend told me about emulators, and I looked online, found an SNES emulator, and have been finding SNES, NES, gameboy, genesis and even the ROMs on this site ever since.

My dad downloaded ZSNES and Zelda: A Link to the Past and he never played it, i found it by accident and ever since I have been playing on roms and emulators... In fact I just downloaded that same zelda game about 10 minutes ago and I am about to play it. So yeah the answer was through my dad.

My brother had computer genius friends who stumbled upon it ages ago, and gave it to me. Always kept up with emulation from there on.

A friend of mine, about 10-12 years ago got me into it. I met her on Neopets.com (a viritual pet site) and we got chatting on AIM and voila, Breath of Fire 1 ended up on my computer and I loved it! Still do but it has been a few years since I played it :(

Saw some of my fellow students in middle school played it while they were on their lunch in the library and I asked them how they were playing it. Soon enough I got it on my desktop and I have been playing ever since.

's been way too long to remember what my first emulation was, but i think i heard about it from a friend and was interested, since i'd recently found out about some games that i couldn't find anywhere and really wanted to play. now, i've got at least half a dozen emulators on my tablet, tons of roms, heck, i've even got emulators installed on my WII :D and still learning about older ones, like emulators for the ps2. overall, very useful, very fun :awesome:

The availability of the games plus the price tag that comes with them. I'm more of a retro gamer as when I was just a kid, I can't afford to buy SNES or the SEGA megadrive. I just rented so just I can play. Now the age of emulation comes and this gave me the opportunity to play the games that I missed.
