5-6 years or so ago I saw a friend of mine playing Zelda: Ocarina of Time on his computer. The first emulator I remember downloading was a SNES one. I used it to play games like FF3 and Chrono Trigger and whatnot.

Well..WAAAY back when I was little, I was desperate to play Pokemon Ruby so I started searching with crappy keywords like: Play pokemon ruby on computer, etc, until I FINALLY (thank god) found a site, and then, ever since that, I've played many many of the top games on the SNES and VBA

It all started... *blah blah blah, epic tale* XD but seriously, I got bored of playing one player Tetris on my SNES, and playing against my dad/bothers/sister was starting to get boring as well. So I searched google for online tetris and XD; found nothing. Talked to a friend, and he mentioned about roms. So, I got my first SNES emu (SNESx9: Didn't like it), and first game I DL'd... CT. Then Tetris, and found out I can't just play ANYONE... T_T I still don't netplay with anyone. My dail-up is supper laggy. T_T

Around '95 or '96, I had a friend who gave me Nesticle, an early nes emu. I found that I found the Zophars site and the rest was history.

Well, Super Mario RPG never came out in this country. Eventually, my desire to play the game was so intense I tried going everywhere in order to find a copy. I couldn't, but I eventually stumbled onto this site and I was hooked ever since.
