I was on Gamespot.com, reading up on the first Fire Emblem game on the Famicom, in the forums. someone was asking if there was a fully translated ROM. I had no idea what he was talking about, until someone else posted a topic a few minutes later, posting a link to this website. After reading up about this site, I got an account and downloaded visualboy advance. I got Final Fantasy Quest for the original GameBoy, because I was very stupid when it came to openning files back then, so I wasted a whole bunch of points. It was the only interesting thing I had enough points for.

Oh, so long ago, like in 1998. My first emulation was with SNES roms and emulator, ZSNES, so i got hooked, and then in 1999 I thought, hey, the Neo*Geo is a cartridge arcade system too, so i guess it can be emulated, and i searched, and i was right.I downloaded all the Neo*Geo roms and still play a lot.I do a lot of emulation, for many systems, I play more in emulation than in my consoles.Emulation and consoles are da bomb.

I found my way to a MAME website and couldn't believe what I saw, they were playing arcade games on their computers!!!! I was so happy I found it, I started downloading all the games I loved. Then I later found out they had the same thing for NES!!!! I couldn't believe it. That was a long time ago, lol.

My friend told me about emulation and I got addicted to games I've never heard about it. It also saves alot of money from buying these games.

I wanted to play Final Fantasy III again after I no longer had the SNES game, so I decided to look it up online. A friend told me about emulators and I immediately found the SNES9XW and a bunch of ROMs for it :D It's a lot easier to find old games that you can't really buy anymore. I haven't been too interested in trying the latest platforms in emulation since they haven't been perfected with all ROMs and I don't really have the need for them.

My friend got me into them. About four years ago he introduced me to VisualBoyAdvance and has developed from there. I think the first game I seriously played on them was Tactics Ogre: Knight of Lodis. I still love that game.

Well, it began about 4 years ago when a friend gave me a url of a site that's because I wanted to play King of Fighters 98 in the arcades but when I arrived at the place always was full, so he told me to download the game from that site... so I did, searching the site I found another roms for SNES, N64, etc so I became an addict ;)
