I was talking to a friend about final fantasys, and he mentioned a type of First Person Shooter coming out where you play as vincent or something? I tried to find stuff on this, and just figured somone here might know, is it true? what is it called? and does anyone have pictures?

Yes. Dirge of Cerberus. First-person and Third-person, you can alternate. And it looks awesome. Because Vincent rocks hardcore.

Yeah, it was said.. the game is called Final Fantasy 7: Dirge of Cerberus, and is a 3rd person shooter, the main character being Vincent.And I agree, it looks like a very awesome game. Though, I'm not a big fan of 1st/3rd person shooters on console systems, so I may rent it, though I doubt I'll own it.

yup yup! Final Fantasy VII: Dirge of Cerberus stars Vincent Valentine! he was a really cool character in the game, but he was a side character, so some people may have missed him if they didn't know how to get him...he was one of my favorite characters ever, so i'm happy about this game

The Game is the Dirge of Cerburus, and technically its a 3rd person shooter...but still pretty fun

I have try it in Jpn ver, it's hard to controling it.it's 3rd person and 1st person shooting, normaly use a 3rd person n when you want to shoot more acurate and the target is above or long distance it prefer 1st person.in 3rd person u can use punch n make combo, u can also able to shoot too.

Square-Enix just needs to stick to RPGs. It's what I go to them for, and it's what I know them for. Stick to the program and just be good at what you do. That said, I HOPE it's as good as a non-crossover FPS, and would fall to my knees and thank whatever god is out there if they got it up there with the legends.

They're taking the VII saga a little too far... Since it is the best FF... 
Still, DoC is going to rock. A remake of the original VII wouldn't be bad, either.
