Im not going to enjoy this game because Final Fantasy is meant to be an RPG not a SHOOTER. This will be bad because if you liked FF as an RPG thats no reason to go out and buy this game because its the same title because it wont be the same game, It will have different gameplay, attitude, and feel.I will however play it just to see if I was completely wrong and just made an donkey of myself.

FF7: Durge of Cerberous (I think) is both 1st person and 3rd person, completely different from any other FF to date

It is both 1st person and 3rd person shooter.... and I hate Hate 1st person games...... I hope I like this game... I also dont like shooter games.... I love final fantasy thoughand Yuffie is in it sooo BONUSits not first-person its third-person

SquareEnix should leave FF7 as it is now and dont make any sequels like AC or other crap.

DoC is a third person shooter where you play as Vincent Valentine.. The main flow of the Story is 2 find out more about this popular FF character.. The game has many different enemies, items and equipment that the player can use. There are also many of the FF7 characters featureed in this game such as Yuffie, Cait Sith & a possibility of Cloud being in it I believe.

I dont see how FF can become a shooter. I dont think it'll be very good. I have a friend who has a friend (hehe) that has it in japanese but I've never seen it

There is a Final Fantasy First Person Shooter in production. In it, you play as Vincent Valentine. That is about the extent of my knowledge...

Dirge of Cerberus is to come out soon, I believe. Heh, Vincent looks awesome in it. Some people have said it won't really be worth getting, and I'm not much into first person shooter games, but I can't resist something to do with FF7(and Vincent!) x3
