What I'm sayin' is probably already been said a million times but...the shooter isn't first-person. It's third-person and it's called Dirge of Cerberus and it's based around Vincent sometime around the time that Advent Children takes place if I remember correctly. But then again, my sources are rather old.I mean...it's Vincent so you gotta get it even if it sucks. Vincent is one of the best people in Final Fantasy VII...hell...in the entire Final Fantasy line! The only ones that match Vincent are Reno and Sephiroth from FFVII.

It's fun, but it's not great... I wouldn't pay fifty bucks for it. But it'll probably sell considering it's FF.

yup its called Final Fantasy Dirge of Cerberus. That is a 3rd person shooter game with Vincent as the main character. There are cameos from FF7 that appear and help vincent from time to time.

Final Fantasy VII: Dirge of Cerberus looks kinda cool, but I'm kinda skeptical on the whole SquareEnix-making-shooters idea.

it cant be realI was talking to a friend about final fantasys, and he mentioned a type of First Person Shooter coming out where you play as vincent or something? I tried to find stuff on this, and just figured somone here might know, is it true? what is it called? and does anyone have pictures?

from what ive heard the game has all chars in it but you do play as vincent in a first person 3rd person shooter...yes it has both!!!

I just pray that Square-Enix makes a worthwhile Final Fantasy game. No matter what it may be. After they merged with Enix, they've made dull games. This shooter should be a game revival and if not, I can't really say what Squenix should do with Final Fantasy.

Ok now, let's settle it once for all: Dirge IS for PS2; it's about not only Vincent but all the Turks stuff. It's story wise right after the ending of FF7 and mixes patterns of RPG AND 1st/3rd person shooters. I saw many videos about this game and it seems pretty well made, squaresoft won't blow up a title bearing the FF7 name eh? Oh maaaaan, I read somewhere that a game where you would play Sephiroth would rock. No. It wouldn't rock. It would kick as many asses as there are people on earth possessing asses!!! Man.....
