God of War has much higher production quality.DMC3 is kind of corny when it tries to be "cool to the max to the extreme." But, DMC3 has more variety I think in gameplay - 4 different fighting modes (with different levels on each) and different moves for each weapon make it quite difficult to master everything.But, it's a tough call. I don't think DMC3 is as classic as DMC though, but definitely a huge step up from DMC2. But then again, GoW has boobies, so GoW.

Both games are pretty sweet but i have been a DMC fan since it first came out. I also think that DMC 3 is harder to beat than god of war. So DMC 3 has to be better than God of War.

i dont think this game are in the same group....god of war is one game with more story... less action... more beatifull in the scenesdmc3 is only action.. one good game to play if u dont r interesting in story

I like both, but the atmosphere in GoW totally got me, the old Greek mytholgy and stuff are implemented really well in the story.

Devil May Cry 3 i perfer better its not as rigged, its longer, just as fun and i like the guns

It slightly depends on your preference. If you want a harder game, go with DMC3, since the monsters get riduclous later on. But if you want a nice looking game (that feels a bit more cinematic) go with God of War.But if you have the money, get both.

i liked god of war more than the devil may cry series because i suck at this particular genre of games, but i like to play them. of course, that just means i like gow's lower difficulty. also, gow looked very pretty technically and artistically. music was very nice as well.

They both good in their own way and I hate choosing only one of them to prefer but if you like killer combos and ripping heads off go for GoW.If you like a badass demon slayer with guns and the works DMC3 is right in your corner.

2 different games reallyIm a better over the Devil May Cry series, no 3 was very hard and fustrating.Gods of War (plus its a bigger game and cheaper now)

I'm gona have to say DMC 3. Just the wasy the game flows is awesome, and the weapon selection is pretty cool too.

DMC3 is far FAR superior gameplay wise, with it's open ended combo system( I love watching the combo vids for this game, they rock so hard).But GoW has a better story/setting/music/pretty much everything else.I love both but I'd have to say DMC3.Also, someone mentioned that if "you love killer combos GoW"Sorry, but you just couldn't be more wrong about that.

Devil May Cry 3 im just a uber fan of the series since its release. Sure its not as innovative as god of war but if its not broke dont fix it ^^ which is why DMC2 is in most peoples trashcan lol
