Devil May Cry 3, because when i had first played it i found it very challenging and it took me awhile to figure out the controls and gameplay. But i liked the storyline and characters better too.

Difficult choice there...if it's the original Devil May Cry vs God of War, I'd have to go with Devil May Cry. God of War is better than the sequels to Devil May Cry, at least in my opinion. I didn't really like Kratos as much as Dante, though Dante's character in Dante's Awakening was...how to put this...awful, he seemed even more cocky and full of himself than in the first...

seeing that DMC 3 owned me, i'll have to go with god of war. i haven't been able to play it but i've seen it and it looks fun.

well they are both prett good games but i got to go with god of war!!!!!! because it has a better story line and i like the spartan stuff adn greek mythology!!!! the fights are really brutal also!!!! that makes it look cool!!!!! devil may cry gets boring after awhile!!!

Althought they are both first person and first time (non-round) fighting game, I would prefer Devil May Cry simpily because of the story line. Since their upgrade and fighting systems are about the same, story line is the only thing I could focus on. I mean..."Demon hunter" VS "I am god"? I would go for the demon hunter.

devil may cry because dante is a g and has a g sword.So... Which will it be? I've asked the question on GoW/DMC3 forums on GameFAQS, and of course the responce was overwhelmingly in favor of the board I was at. Time to ask the question on a neutral ground. Which do you like more, and why?

I like God of War a lot more than Devil May Cry 3. God War has a lot more blood, gore, violence, and it's fun to play. Also I have never played Devil May Cry 3 and it doesn't appeal to my liking.

I have never played Devil May Cry but I have wanted to. God of War had a great storyline awesome spells and some cool weapons. Bonus mode was an awesome plus to it to. It was hard to level up all spells without having to go to bonus but I have seen it done before by my uncle. I know a lot of secret treasures in the game to but haven't played in a while. Playing any after beating it 3 times isn't really fun. God of War wins.

tat is a really good question and i have been a DMC fan for a long time but im gonna have to go with GoW its just way more blood and action and more puzzles in it too the only thing DMC3 had was those circle things with the fire on them

For me , if you already played to devil may cry 1 or 2, buy god of war, it's different and you'll more fun!

I agree your opinions very much!What can I say?I'm a Devil May Cry fanboy, so I choose DMC3 over any other action that's not DMC.Anyway, God of War is even running for game of the year according to most game sites. But for me this game will never be as cool as DMC.
