Devil May Cry maybe cool & all but I don't see myself choosing any game from that category over God of War. That game is pure vengance. Cruel to the bone. Very graphic as well.

Okay, I've absolutely fallen in love with the God of War series. I've beaten both I & II. I've never played Devil May Cry passed the second mission. I guess I'll give the game another shot.-goalpoacherWell, God of War shows great potential since it has various mini-games, but the hero, Kratos (Am I right??) is like a zombie.Comparing God of War to Devil May Cry, they both have the same systems. But DMC is much better than GoW.

well, i like God of war better. for one, it has a slightly more complex story line that took at least some research to come up with. It's not just a linear run through levels, hacking and shooting your way through the game.It actually has puzzles that require thought. and the weapon/power upgrading is just as good. i just think its a step up from devil may cry. plus... kratos is totally awesome, and would own dante in a fight.

Devil May Cry all the way!!!!! I like the storyline a lot better, and the style of fighting suits me better

God of War is awesome its very addictive and I don't really know about Devil May Cry 3 because never play it.

I didn't like God of War at first but now I like both evenly now but I will have to go with Devil May Cry 3.

God of War and DMC are too games that I rank ownage. However, since I played more of God of War than DMC3 I would say God of War.

Definitely DMC3. There's Dante AND Vergil, two extremely stylish characters! But i probably like DMC better than God Of War becasue of the cinematics. Dante and Vergil appear so agile and lively under any circumstances while Kratos is moving like he's got cramps all over.

IMO DMC3 because there's so much to do!!! specially if you have the special edition, where you can play as vergil and play bloody palace (9999 lvls)
