Off because it wastes batteries if its on.

I will turn on the sound if i played the GBA SP with charged battery as i will turn off the sound when i played by using the original GBA.

i play gba games with the sound off... i find gba music to be rather annoying... i listen to my mp3 when playin the gba..

mostly the sounds on with pokemon games, the sfx are awesomebut for other classic games i might just turn off...

why would you want to play with the sound off...then you dont get to listen to the good music...in certain games...like golden sun!

I usually play with sound on unless the battery is low and I don't have my charger with me.

I play with sound ON, but in games like Dragon Warrior, sometimes the music gets annoying so I turn the sound down, but not off -- sound is a major part of the game in my opinion! :D

If it waste your batteries, just purchase an adapter for it.Sound makes the game more enjoyable.

sound is always on, because bosses have certain sfx when they attack

i have it off because i play at like 200-250% and the music is sped up aswell so it sounds really bad. unless i play on 99% i put sound on.

I say, off... it's a total waste of energy except if you're listening to some special songs which are available only once in the entire game...

On. But I turn on WMP and listen to music... I lower the music volume when i get a new game, to hear what it sounds like.
