I have never understood playing a game without any music. Music helps create the atmosphere. The right collection of notes can actaully trigger memories from a game for me if it sounds close to a game's soundtrack.

I nearly always have sound on, unless when I play late at night then I use headphones. Soemtimes I listen to music while playing so then it's off.

Sounds off, I truly prefer my MP3 music than the one on most games and also because my mom can't stand the GBA sounds...and I hate playing with the headphone wire hanging under the GBA and on the Visual boy, I use the turbo which screw the music by accelerating it...

I tend to play with the sound off coz it sometimes just doesn't seem to fit in with the feel of the game.

Man... I hate GBA sound, it usually isn't good or exciting, for me, whether it is VBA or GBASP, it's definitely always off

I usually play with the sound on, but the games own music has to be good. Like the fire emblem series, the castlevania games, and the legend of zelda games, I guess you could throw pokemon in there too but I haven't played that in seven years.

Why would you want to turn the sound off? You're really missing out on the true experience of the game.Plus, you can't be that interested in the game if you want to turn the soundtrack off. If it was a game like Phoenix Wright you'd definitely be missing out.
