On most games, I have it on. I get more into the game when I can actually hear it.

I play with the sound on most of the time. But if I'm playing when I'm suppose to be sleeping, I turn it off so I don't get caught. :)

i generally play with the sound on because it draws me further into the game. Also, i use an SP, and the charger is right near where i always play, so battery life generally isn't a worry for me. When im in public, i keep the sound off to avoid annoying others, though.

Usually it's off (for obvious reasons) but some GBA games actually have good sounds coming out of that little speaker.

I keep it on when starting the game and turn off when I don't want to hear it anymore (or XD when I need to play without being noticed)

Even though I think it is better with the sound off so you can listen to other things like MP3 or just have peace and quiet, it's just so great to listen to the tunes from the Sonic and Mario games, so classic.

this really depends on the situation. on if you're in a quite room by yourself, or if its a game which requires sound to accomplish something. otherwise, off because i use classic gba and cant be bothered replacing the battery all the time.
