I use sound unless I'm trying to listen to something else or am trying to keep it secret. Batteries aren't really a problem cause I have an SP.

Of course on. You go into the atmosphere of that game and it feels more realistic.

I can't play when the music is turned off. I can "go into the game", feel like it's real. some games' music is very bad, then I turn off the music (for example the old GB/GBC games have a terrible scrachy sound, I don't like it)

It depends on location and the game. If I'm surrounded by people, sound off. If my battery is low, sound off. If the game has awesome music... Well, the other two reasons become less important.

I would play with the sound off if my battery is low or if I was playing in the middle of the night and my brother was sleeping or something. Usually I would play with the sound on because I like the cool monotones and stuff
