Finaly a real question, and the question is easy to anwser Suikoden 1, and maybe 2.Its just to bad that the suikoden 3 only came out to ps2 and not ps1 or xbox

Suikoden 2!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! no doubt!OMG!!! This game best game so far for me!!The storyline awesome!The artwok make me drool!!!

First thing of all, What the hell is up with all you FF7 fanboys/girls? FF7 is far from the greatest RPG of all time and has been surpassed by many RPGs before and after it.First of all- Vagrant Story. Not my favourite of all time but it was much more innovative than most RPGs I have ever seen. The battle system was flawless and the graphics beautiful.Second of all- FF3. Thats right, a 2D RPG was superior to FF7 in nearly every single way except for graphics and sound. The villian was a truly hateable but likeable in a way type of villian who was not made out to be invincible.Last of all- ANY Suikoden (Save IV) is better than FF7 for too many reasons to list. Each have a deep plot which revolve more on the main characters feelings for those around him and less about saving the world. Ask anyone who has experienced the Pinnacle of 2D RPGing with Suikoden 2 and they will tell you how excellent it is.

Mine was Parasite Eve, Because the battle system was cool and because the weapons system alowed me to turn a little pea-shooter into a massive cannon.

There is no RPG that can be compared to Xenogears, deep storyline, good graphics, awesome sounds...other titles that could be worth your time are Tales of Destiny 2 ,Star Ocean 2 and Valkyrie Profile, you can even bother yourself with the FF series, just dont buy the FFVIII, thats the most crappy of the RPG games I played so farGrandia series and Lunar series are also ok(unar has a great soundtrack)Alundra series is a action RPG series full of puzzles, castlevania Symphony of the night is good(and its soundtrack is awesome too)Tales of destiny 1 is ok but its too short to my liking,Well I could go on listing others RPGs Ive played and my thoughs about them but, You asked for my favorite and I must say Xenogears goes by far on the first place of my all time favorite RPG

FF7 had to be my favorite rpg because it kept you going and had all the sidequests you could do for fun just to make beating the game a little more sweet!

tough choice. i'm going to have to say seiken densets:legend of mana because it was realy refreshing compared to all the turn based rpgs. other then that i'd have to say either breath of fire 3 or ff9.

FFVII and FFVIII they are both good but I still give VII the edge because I like its story better, legend of dragoon was okay too
