that's got to be either FF7 or FF Tactics. Both are amazing.Xenogears is supposed to be good too, but i haven't played much of it yetI forgot to put Legend of Dragoon, i saw someone else put it and i just wanted to second that vote. Great Game!

my favourit rpg on the ps1 would be the legend of dragoon, most people would go for the final fantasy series but not me.

personally Final Fantasy VIII has to be the best one yet. comparing it to the other gams of its time, it was far superior in terms of story, gameplay, graphics, etc.

my favourite rpg is the final fantasy 9 because its a long game and it has a great storylinei would have to say its the best ff game ive played and ive played all of them except ff tactics

Final Fantasy VII, Xenogears, and Parasite Eve are games to DIE for. They are the best games ever.
I hope I get a minus (-) warning level because I really need discounts on DP Conversions/Loans...

i like persona2 and chrono trigger kicks the 
out of most games never really like FF7 seemed to get boring pretty quick but for the best in my personal opnion is beyond the beyond and who can forget thousand arms now that was a most excellent game.

OMG its gotta be Chrono Cross!!! It is my favorite RPG of all time!!! The music! The ART!!! The GAMEPLAY!!! AND THE STORY!!!!!!!!!!!!! It is the greatest game I've ever played!!
