Xenogears. I always found the Final Fantasy games rather mediocre. Don't get me wrong they're still good, they just provide a nice baseline by wich to judge other rpgs.

FFVII was awsome. it defenly my fav rpg. it not boring. and is long which is a good thing.

I cannot say FFVII because the one i have is for the PC, but i know that Castlevania Symphony of the Night is half RPG, so i choose castlevania

Hands down Suikoden 2 is the best rpg ever, and its on psx to boot. I never got big because it was release the same weak as ff7, and the ff series was already well known.

FF7 and FF8 were amazing. i still play them quite often.FF9 was terrible.Suikoden is easily up there in the top 3 with FF7 and 8.i could never get my hands on Suikoden 2 though...

Out of what I played FF7 and FF8 I enjoyed the most.FF9 and Chrono Cross I liked but not as much as the other two.

well i agree every square-enix game is good , but the grandia games or the tales series are quite good too, but is the ff7 my favorite

My favs are Final Fantasy 7,8 and 9; Breath of Fire 4 and Azure Dreams (really rare, really cool!)

Thats a doozy of a question. I like all final fantasies (VIII, and Tactics I think the best), Chrono Trigger (port), Chrono Cross, Legend of Dragoon, Legend of Legaia...So many to choose from. The only one i wish i had played was Xenogears, i heard that it was a good game
