Uh, no question about it. Definitely FFTA. It's good enough to take it's place amongst the main games.

Final Fantasy VI for story, Final Fantasy V for gameplay. The story of VI was tragic so many times with Kefka's poisoning, destroying the world, etc. But it was also so upbeat with Edgar's and Sabin's humor.FFV's job system was fantastic though.

i like em all too much to choose. that's like telling a parent to choose their favorite child. but i guess ima go with my eldest child, ff: dawn of souls. i enjoy the classic feel to the game, and ay, these were the games that started it all. the crystals of light came started here. the classic gameplay elements started here too. i'm not saying the original is actually better or anything. i jus love final fantasy too much to really choose a definite favorite (well.... maybe i could. that ff7 was a whopper... but these are gba titles i'm talkin bout), but i'm always a fan of the original

My favorite for GBA is Final Fantasy VI. It has a nice storyline and it is more challenging than the other Final Fantasy games for GBA.

In my opinion, FF Tactics Advance was the best one.It was so unique compared to the other ones and surprisingly, I liked it more than the one one ps1/psp.The second one on ds was horrible

Wish it wasn't restricted to GBA, my favorite as a child was Final Fantasy Legends 3 but that was old school gameboy. I'm having to think hard about which ones were DS, Advance, or Original gameboy. I liked FF Tactics Advance, but nothing compares to the remake of the original FF1 on Dawn of Souls. Very awesome addition to the FF game archives.

I'll always say the best Final Fantasy game on any console is FF6 (advance on GBA), mainly because it was the first RPG I had ever played (back when it was FF3 on the SNES).I guess my secondary reason for loving it would be because of how much I loved its storyline, and that I'm such an emotional (and nostalgic) person I'll remember it forever.

Tactics Advance, definitely. I've always enjoyed Chess and the like, and this was very Chess-like for me.

I would have to say Final Fantasy Tactics Advance. I'm personally more of a strategist rather than an adventurer. I mean, I do like the original FF games, but Tactics Advance brought in a new type of gameplay that has no compare in my book. A strategy game that keeps the Final Fantasy essence intact. That is why this game is the best FF game in my opinion. Of course, it's DS sequel is just as good.

Final Fantasy 4 is my favourite. It isn't a perfect game or anywhere near, and the story isn't the best one of the FFs, but I'm so fond of the characters I've played it a lot.I also like FF5. And I was disappointed at Final Fantasy Tactics Advance. Tactics Ogre: The Knight of Lodis is superior to FFTA in almost every aspect.

The best "Final Fantasy" game on GBA, to me, is Tactics Advance. But the thing is, that game is vastly different from the RPGs. The gameplay is (or to me, was) unique, and I really liked the resource-management angle of the game. I wish A2 had been able to keep up anything like it - but then again, catching lightning in a bottle is a miracle to begin with. Doing it twice? Can't even hope for that. But for the numbered games, I have to say VI. Though I love V for one reason - it was the first time I'd ever played it.
