I have pleayed FFTA and also FF V but to be honest i didn't like either, and i thought they were much better. Still i prefer FFTA in terms of graphics and FF V in terms of gameplay and also history. I can't decide!! lolol So my vote goes to these two games - the older ones weren't as good as these one...
Even with the announcement of new Halo projects, the principal trilogy won't be forgotten from our minds as fast as we may expect...

I guess it's Final Fantasy Tactics. But Final Fantasy IV Advance is also a very very good game, played it on SNES though.

ffta for me. i reckon it has better graphics but also a decent story plus der was a lot to do with the quests/jobs and all

FFTA was the bedt GBA one but the best in all is FF12 that game is sweet!

i'm still waithing for FF6 on the gba i think it has the best story and i wanna see how Terra looks on the gba in her esper form

i prefer the final fantasy 7 and 6 though the ff7 is a mediocre game well not so sure of it i've just read itanother one is the gba ver. of final fantasy 2/4 its challenging

id have to say tactics... .only because its the only really new one out of the three.... i had already playedthe others on there origanal system... sooo buying them again just for better stuff in them but same story..... not as worth it as a entiely new one!!

Tactics was a pretty good game ... although I did play it at the same time as Tactics Ogre which was way better.Other than that, I'd say FFV.
Don't forget that your weapon was made by the lowest bidder ...

well i would have to say altho this is for hanhelds that FF7 was and always will be the best but for handhelds FFT

Since ff7 before crisis is meant for a cell phone does it count as handheld? 
I love ff7 but they r really starting to go overboard with all the ff7 extras.
