I think that the worst Pokemon is Abra. It can't do ANYTHING until it evolves into Kadabra, then it owns

Rattata. Sure, it's nice to have one at the beginning of the game, but there's no pokemon that outlives its usefulness quite so quickly as Rattata does.

I'd have to say Pidgey (and Pigeotto, and Pidgeot). I mean sure, it can fly, BUT SO WHAT? Its defense reeked and it could barely take a hit from any Pokemon in the Elite Four. I purposely kept it a low level and just lugged it around merely for the conveniece of the HM Fly. And, fyi, I'm talking about Pokemon Blue version.
