seriously, this game rocks. I remember the first time I picked it up and I got destroyed in one blow. I was hooked....does anybody else appreciate this dope game as much as me?

Yea, the first Bushido Blade was forgotten. I still have the demo disk (with the ff7 demo on it as well) somewhere.

I enjoyed number one, but didn't like the designs for number two, especially the fact that they gave it life bars.Have you guys ever tried Kengo? I know there's at least 3 games in the series, and it's desgined by the people who made Bushido Blade.I haven't tried it myself, but it's been one of those ones I've always had my eyes on.Any opinions?

i hated bushido blade, 1 and 2, i beat them so fast it was rediculous, wasnt much of a plot either

I never got the secret ending for any character. Cool Game. I remember the was a trick to win at the bridge. Simply Jump down. If you do it right you instantly win. LOL

Bushido Blade is a more realistic game not just in terms of fighting games, but the way sword duels were. The major problem is with so much anime and mangas prevelant in society, your average "otaku" with depict a sword duel as a 30 minute process filled with highly improbable, if not impossible moves.I love this game because it depicts the realism behind bladed objects: one or two hits and your basically dead.

Yah, I loved the original. Damage was carried over (If you didn't notice) and you could actually cripple an opponent.

Hands down one of the best and most realistic fighting games ever...if they ever make a number 3, I would die of happiness, then find a way to revive so I can play it

Ahhh... The way a samurai fight should be, where skill is key and the first to make a mistake pays with his life. A button masher is only going to expose his backside for the opponent to deal the single finishing blow.

I remember this game!It's often difficult because SQUARE managed to make the game as real as it can.I mean, seriously, literal damage per strike? That's hardcore.
