Hmm... nice response. Judging from your information, there might be more than one method, because this starts differently but ends the same. I'll give this a few days.
Should I feel bad if I want everything to become ice cream?

I am very sure that is the only way, but to add more info to this. It has to be the east edge of cinnabar that you have to swim where you can find missingno's and odd leveled pokemon. Any block away from the edge, and it won't work. If I can recall, in blue version, most of the oddly lvled pokemon will be rapidash and in red version, most of the oddly lvled pokemon will be nidorino. If you capture the oddly lvled pokemon, they will go back to level 100. at the eastern-most part of the land of cinnabar, surf onto the spot right beside the land and swim up and down, after talking to the old man who teaches you to catch pokemon in viridian city. the 6th item in your bag is multiplied many-fold and you may encounter above level 100 pokemon (like level 142 snorlax) and if those pokemon are caught it may mess up your game (if you catch this entity called missingno) and if such pokemon like the aforementioned snorlax gain exp they go back to level 100

Mew flying around near the beginning shouldn't belong due to the fact it is an event pokemon and 151 who was outside the original 150 pokemon.

Totally incorrect. that's the wrong answer, and mewtwo is in the kanto dex as pokemon 150.The answer I am looking for involves three pokemon, that have been said over and over again. They all come from the Johto Dex, because that's the next series up.mew and mewtwo as they are not in the 150 pokemon kanto dex

My answer is going to have to be Donphan and Togepi. Donphan for appearing in the initial battle scene with Ash vs the buff dude during the theme song and Togepi for obvious reasons.Nice sig idea btw.
