So, let's try to bring this quiz back to life again!
A few announcements before I start:
First of all, I am going to reset the scoreboard since the quiz is over two years old.
Second, it may occur that a question I ask has been asked before in this quiz. I, however, am not planning on reading 183 pages to find out which question has been asked and which not.
With that settled, on to the quiz!
RULES:
- Follow the basic forum rules.
- Additional points can be earned by giving extra details (not unnecessary details!) in the answer. Also, some question may require several answers, earning you multiple points (if this is the case this will be mentioned in the question).
- Don't post an answer already given before by someone else
- ...unless you can improve it.
- If you changed your display name and have scored before (so you're already on the scoreboard), please inform me of this when posting another answer.

Question #1:
What effects does the adamant nature have on a pokémon?

Q1: Adamant raises physical attack points while lowering special attack points. Natures essentially play along standard deviations. So now Attack will be +1 Deviation while Special Attacks will be -1 Deviation from the standard baseline for given pokemon based on level/gender/etc..

Actually, the nature simply increases or decreases the stat with 10% (by applying a factor 0.9 or 1.1 after all the other calculations), so it doesn't have anything to do with standard deviations.
I was wondering though, how did you come up with a deviation like that? (If you still think I'm wrong, you could try PM-ing me explaining it. Who knows, it might earn you a bonus point after all
)
You got the effects of adamant nature right though, so still one point!

Question #3:
Which non-legendary pokémon has the highest base attack of all?

Q3:
Gen 1: Dragonite
Gen 2: Tyranitar
Gen 3: Slaking
Gen 4: Rampardos
And I never played Gen 4 or 5, so I'm guessing on the last one and have no idea what Gen 5 pokemon are...

Well... ALMOST correct.
These four are indeed the ones with the highest attack, but of these four Slaking does not have the highest.
Anyway, considering you never played Gen 4 or 5 you're probably going to guess Rampardos next, which happens to be correct. So I'll just give you the points.
That said, 2 points for you, the extra point for giving the ones from 4 generations =) (also, the one from gen 5 would have been Haxorus, but nevermind that)

- If you managed to find this text, add the phrase "I know your secret!" to your answer for another two bonus points! Obviously, you can only do this once.

There's only 11 from what I gathered, not 12, so does that mean it's 3+1 or 4+1 on the points?

Correct and it's 3+1 points, I created the bonus point because there were only 11.

Question #7:
In Generation V, there are three moves that despite being classified as special moves calculate the damage using the user's special attack and the opponent's defense (instead of it's special defense). Name one of these moves for 1 point, name all three of them for 2 points.
(HINT: Two of these moves are signature moves of legendary Pokémon. Two of the three moves are psychic type moves, the other is fighting. The not-signature move is Psyshock, name the other two for 1 point.)
