I thought I had a bad one :(GeForce Fx 5500 256mb pci video card.Not the best, and it's old, but it was the best PCI bus type card I could find... my motherboard is old. Hell all of my parts are old. But it can anti alias on some games up to 4x so it's pretty neat. Edit: was Fx 5500 not 5500xI believe I have a Nvidia Graphics card... It only has 32mb of video memory.

Nope, it's just the brand that makes the Graphics Card and/or modifies it, there's a lot, Palit, ASUS, etc.Mine isn't the newest, but it does its job.
GeForce 8400SE, 512 MB. And "ASUS Nvidia"? Did those two collaborate? ^^;

Nvidia makes the GPU and other companies make the actually card.I have ATI Radeon X1300 XGE 512Mb.But with the lack of ATI driver support on linux I'll be getting a 9800 GT or an 8800 GT (almost same performance 9 series slightly faster) from BFG in about a week.Mine isn't the newest, but it does its job.

Nice OC man, i dont OC my GFX cards much if there ati, last time one of my mates did and it blew up while he was playing gamesI have a Diamond Radeon HD 4870 which cost $30 less than the other 4870 and more energy efficient, since it also used less power. 512MB of GDDR5 RAM and OC @ 790 MHZ core and 1100MHZ memory.

I remeber i had a MX 400LAWL. That's what happens when you get power hungry and over do it.
I increase the fan speed to 50% though, so my temperature is in the 50C idle and 60-70-ish at full load (at the price of a somewhat loud fan
). Stock fan speed is only 15%...no wonder why it's so quiet and hot. XDOh yeah! I also have an old Geforce 7300 GS OC which I don't use and a Geforce MX 4xxx which I gave to my nephew.

Funny, even my 8400 runs Crysis fine with medium settings. Again, I've heard of coolant fan malfunctions in 9 series cards... You can consider a rollback(games like Crysis will eventually shut down my computer).
